Dmitry Belosselskiy is a graduate of the Russian Academy of Music. While still a student, he joined the Moscow Academy Chamber Chorus as a soloist. In 2007 he won the second prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition and is now a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre.
He has worked with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Bashmet, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Ion Marin, Thomas Sanderling and Mikhail Pletnev. He has also performred at the Rome Opera, the Norske Opera in Oslo, the Palm Beach Opera, the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto, the Bregenz Festival, the Macau International Festival and others.
Concert appearances have taken him to New York, Chicago, Boston, Vienna and Luxemburg. This is his first appearance with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
