Rachel Daliot was born in Israel and grew up in Norway. She received her B.M. degree in Choral Conducting (as a student of Aharon Harlap) and Music Theory at the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music, where she also studied flute with Moshe Epstein and voice with Bibiana Goldenthal.
Rachel furthered her studies in Choral Conducting at the Norwegian State Academy of Music (1990-92) under Terje Kvam and Stefan Sköld. She has conducted choirs in Norway and Israel. Rachel started working at the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra Library in 1998, and has been Principal Librarian since 1999.
