Amnon Valk

Amnon Valk

Born in 1960, Amnon Valk is the Assistant Principal of the Second Violin section of the Israel Philharmonic, and has already appeared with it as a soloist.
He began violin studies at the age of 6 with his father, Wolfgang Valk, and later studied with Ilona Feher. At the age of 13 he was awarded a scholarship by Yehudi Menuhin to his London school. He graduated with honours from the Royal College of Music in London and later studied at the Tel Aviv Rubin Academy of Music.
