Eran Reemy

Born Israel, Eran Reemy began playing the piano at the age of 6 and the trumpet at 12. He studied the trumpet with Raphael Glaser and Robert Freer (both former trumpeters with the Israel Philharmonic) and is a graduate of the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts. He served in the IDF as a trumpeter with the Air Force Band.
Eran Reemy earned his Bachelor’s degree at the Berlin University of the Arts, where he studied with Konradin Groth of the Berlin Philharmonic. During his stay in Berlin he was also a student at the Herbert von Karajan Academy and played with the Berlin Philharmonic for two years.
In 1995-2002 he was Principal Trumpeter with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. In the 2005-06 season he joined the Israel Philharmonic.
He also performs as soloist and in chamber concerts in Israel and abroad. Eran Reemy is a conductor, having conducted the Israel Philharmonic and other orchestras.
He is on the faculty of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
