Vladislav Krasnov

Vladislav (“Vlad”) Krasnov was born in Kiev, Ukraine. In 1991 he immigrated to Israel and began his music studies at the Rubin Academy of Music, Tel Aviv University, with former Israel Philharmonic Principal Violist, Prof. Yuri Gandelsman.

For six years, starting the year he arrived in Israel, he played with the Young Israel Philharmonic, as well as with the Jerusalem Symphony and the Israeli Chamber Players. He joined the Israel Philharmonic in 2000. In 2002-2004 he was acting assistant principal violist in the Israel Philharmonic.

Vlad Krasnov is an enthusiast chamber music player who plays in many ensembles. He performs regularly in the chamber series of the Israel philharmonic, and played with many international musicians such as Lahav Shani, Julian Rachlin, Vadim Repin, Frédéric Chaslin and many others.
