For the first time, these two leading institutions collaborate in training future generations ofmusicians in Israel and help promote their careers in Israel and abroad. The School, basedon theexistingAcademyofMusic at Tel AvivUniversity, includes anExcellenceProgramme for ca. 100outstanding full-scholarshipstudents. Principal Israel Philharmonic musicians are on the School's faculty and ZubinMehta is its Honorary President.
