Additional opportunities of support

The Home of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra: the Charles Bronfman Auditorium

The Orchestra’s Archives, various artist rooms and the KeyNote Education Wing and Lecture Hall, the Zubin Mehta Suite, the Auditorium’s backstage area and the Musicians Green Room do not yet bear the name of a donor. We are at your disposal for information on how you can link your name with the home of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra for generations to come.

A Concert Forever

By endowing an annual IPO concert, donors link themselves to the Orchestra’s musical excellence and enable a unique connection of the IPO and its audience of over 21,000 annual subscribers.

Benefits include a special page dedicated to the donors which appears every year in the concert program of the concert dedicated to them.

Requested donation: $150.000 (for 40 years)

A Seat Forever

We invite you to commemorate your name or the name of a loved one through a mentioning on a chair in the Lowy Concert Hall. The name of the donor or his loved ones will be stamped on a copper plate attached to the selected chair. Your contribution will support the Orchestra’s musical activities and will give you the opportunity to maintain an ongoing relationship with the IPO.

Requested donation: ranges between NIS 10,000 and NIS 40,000, depending on the seat in the hall.

The IPO’s Endowment Fund

A contribution to the IPO’s Endowment Fund aims to provide the Orchestra with an ongoing financial security.

A contribution to the fund is a one-time donation, the interest of which are transferred to the Orchestra every year and helps it maintain its high international standards, as well as initiate special projects in the field of education and the connection with the community.

Donations start from 25,000 NIS.

“IPO Youth Club” – subsidizing tickets for high school students and students of music majors

Your support of the musical reserve project will help the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra enable high school students and students of music majors to purchase tickets at a discount of up to 85%, as well as to meet with members of the Orchestra an hour before the concert for a “musical dialogue”.

The Orchestra requests a token payment from the students and seeks funding sources to cover its expenses for this project. Our goal is to enable 25,000 students to enjoy this rare opportunity.

Donations start at 10,000 NIS.

“Shesh Besh” – The Jewish-Arab ensemble sponsored by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra

“Shesh Besh” was established as part of the KeyNote program out of the belief in that music has all the power to connect hearts and build a true bridge between nations. The ensemble, which combines three musicians from the IPO with four leading Arab musicians, performs a wide repertoire of the best Western and Eastern music, as part of East-West encounters in the community.

Donations start at 10,000 NIS.

Subsidizing tickets for IDF soldiers

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra allows IDF soldiers free entrance tickets to the Orchestra’s concerts in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem.

Donation start at NIS 7,500.

“Adopt a school bus” – Transportation of school children to special IPO concerts

Many schools in the periphery are interested in joining KeyNote – the IPO’s Musical Education and Community Outreach program of the Philharmonic Orchestra, but have difficulty financing the costs of traveling to Tel Aviv. Your contribution to this project will enable the IPO to give pupils who have never been exposed to the world of classical music the opportunity to enjoy the emotional value and experience of a symphony concert on the highest artistic level.

Sponsorship for one bus is 4,000 NIS
