After a month’s delay, the Home Front Command updated its instructions, enabling us to open our concert season.
Despite the somber mood, sirens and worry, we believe that music plays an important role in these hard times. Music is part of our national fortitude and of our existence here, and it is therefore crucial that we return to perform. In the last week of November, the orchestra will return to give concerts in Tel Aviv, as well as in Haifa and Jerusalem.
We will hold the concert series with guest conductor Alexandre Bloch and clarinetist Sharon Kam. We thank them both for coming here despite the security situation
