Dmitri Golderman

Dmitri Golderman was born in Russia in 1961 and studied cello for 10 years in Moscow before immigrating to Israel in 1979. He studied with Professor Uzi Wiesel at the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel- Aviv. In 1986 he received his Master’s degree in music.
In 1982-85, while serving in the army, he was a member of the IDF chamber quartet. In 1985-88 he was Assistant Principal Cellist of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and in 1988 he joined the Israel Philharmonic.
An active chamber musician, he has performed with various chamber ensembles in Israel and abroad.
