What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
I started playing when I was 4 years old, my dad is a cellist as well ☺

What age did you understand that you wish to pursue a musical career?
When I was 20 I realized that music is the only thing I wanted to pursue.

Name an unforgettable moment with the IPO
I had few unforgettable moments: the last tour with Zubin Mehta, several concerts with Kurt Masur and when Evgeny Kissin played with us.

What do you love to do off stage?
Off stage I love exercising and traveling with my kids ☺

I listen to all genres of music.

What is the special significance of the IPO to you/Why did you want to be part of the IPO?
For me the IPO symbolizes the highest standard of music making and that is the reason why I wanted to be a part of it.

Did you acquire any new skills during the pandemic?
I didn’t acquire any new skill during the pandemic ☺

How can we keep classical music and live performances relevant in the digital era?
In my opinion we just have to continue doing what we know best – performing the best we can!
