At what age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
Piano – 7, cello – 10.

At what age did you understand that you wish to pursue a musical career?
There wasn’t a clear moment, more like a natural process.

Name an unforgettable moment with the IPO
The concerts with Kirill Petrenko are unforgettable for me. In my opinion he represents the “ultimate” conductor – a humble yet charismatic personality. He is concerned only about the purity of the music and music-making, and there’s a strong sense of collaborative creativity.

What do you love to do off- stage?
Family… the more the merrier. (also reading, TV series, and sports).

Which kind of music would we find on your playlist?
The Beatles, Israeli, jazz, and Latin.

What is the special significance of the IPO to you/Why did you want to be part of the IPO?
For me the meaning of the IPO is music-making at its highest level. The orchestra and the hall feel like home for me. Sitting and being a part of this group, on both sides – making music and listening as well (for example listening to our incredible wind players), is a true privilege for me.

Did you acquire any new skills during the pandemic?
I got better at cooking and baking.
