At what age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
I play the violin from the age of 6.

At what age did you understand that you wish to pursue a musical career?
From the beginning it was decided by my father, who was a professional violinist. At the age of 16 I’ve understood that I’d love to continue with this career.

Name an unforgettable moment with the IPO
The most unforgettable event with the IPO was when I still lived in Moscow, and the orchestra came for a visit. It was a really unforgettable concert and I was happy to attend it.

What do you love to do off stage?
Off stage, I love to travel and to do a lot of sports.

Which kind of music would we find on your playlist?
I like classical, jazz and Trance music.

What is the special significance of the IPO to you/Why did you want to be part of the IPO?
After the huge impression I got from the IPO’s concert in Moscow in 1989, which was a kind of level I’ve never heard before in my life, I decided to immigrate to Israel, leaving my whole family behind, and trying to get this job.

Did you acquire any new skills during the pandemic?
During the pandemic I adopted a dog and I’m busy with dog training.

How can we keep classical music and live performances relevant in the digital era?
In the digital era we must combine several sorts of art, such as dance, movie, theatre etc. to attract an audience of wide spectrum.

Something you wish to share about yourself?
I’m a mom of 3 sons, they love listening to music, but they study exact sciences.
