Alina Boyarkina – The Colton Scholarship

 

Alina Boyarkina was born in Omsk, Russia. She started her music education at the age of 6 in the class of Irina Berezhnaya. At the age of 12 Alina and her parents moved to Moscow where she continued her studies. In 2013 she graduated from Gnessin State Musical College (class of docent Evgeniy Durnovo). In 2018 she graduated with honors from Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of prof. Graf Murja). In 2020 Alina came to Israel to study for her master’s degree in Buchmann Mehta School of Music (TAU) under the guidance of prof. Dora Schwarzberg. In 2022 Alina graduated from University with a summa cum laude diploma. In the same year she won an audition for Colton Scholarship and became a temporary member of Israel Philharmonic. On January 7th 2023 Alina debuted as a soloist with BMSM Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Lahav Shani. In September 2023 she performed in Wiener Konzerthaus as a member of the Colton String Quartet.
