Eleonora Lutsky was born in the Ukraine and in 1982 won first prize in a national competition there. In 1988 she graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Music and two years later immigrated to Israel. Until 2004 she was Assistant Concertmaster of the Jerusalem Symphony, making solo appearnces and recordings with the orchestra. She was also First Violinist of the Israel Contemporary Players. In 2004 she was invited to join the Israel Philharmonic. Eleonora Lutsky performs regularly with various chamber ensembles and has appeared as soloist with the Israel Philharmonic.
