Simon Kricheli

Born In Georgia, Simon Kricheli immigrated to Israel in 1990 and studied acting at Tel Aviv University. Between 1996 and 2000 he was a member of the Cameri Theatre and at the same time studied singing with the late Dr. Itzhak Atanelov. In 2001 he went to study at the Osimo Academy in Italy. He has appeared in several roles with the Israeli Opera and performed with all the Israeli orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2013 he revived Kolan, the only Georgian folklore band in Israel, and performs with it throughout Israel. A recipient of America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships, he participates regularly in The Three Tenors, The Sopranos and Moscow Bells.
