The 89th Season
Dear Audience,
In the midst of the ever-changing reality surrounding us, and while the hostages have yet to return home, music continues to be, for many of us, a refuge of beauty, depth, and connection in a difficult time.
We are pleased to present the Israel Philharmonic’s 89th concert season, under the musical direction of Lahav Shani, and we hope the new season will bring light to our days – offering moments of hope and comfort through the power of music.
This season has been crafted as a rich mosaic of remarkable works, performed by some of the world’s greatest conductors and soloists. Alongside artists making their debut with us, we are thrilled to welcome back familiar faces, and especially Maestro Zubin Mehta, who will pay us a special visit.
