The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra announces auditions for the IPO Academy
The program’s mission is to encourage and develop outstanding young musicians, to prepare and support them on their path to an orchestral career, and to offer them a unique opportunity to integrate into a community of top musicians.

We invite young musicians aged 21-28 (preferably post-degree) to audition for the IPO Academy.
Participants in the program are employed by the Israel Philharmonic in a full-time position with a pre-commitment for two seasons (October 2026 – July 2028).
The Academy position is divided into two parts:
- Playing in the orchestra (rehearsals, concerts, and tours)
- Pedagogical scope including private lessons, mock auditions, chamber music, community activities, and more.
The upcoming auditions will be open for Violin and Viola.
The auditions will take place at the Charles Bronfman Auditorium, Lowey Hall, Tel Aviv, in the following dates:
Viola: Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 17:00
Violin: Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 13:45
